- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 angel food cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- Optional: fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and prepare the strawberries and blueberries.
- Cut the angel food cake into small cubes.
- In clear glasses or jars, layer cake cubes, strawberries, whipped cream, and blueberries.
- Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with a dollop of whipped cream and a few berries on top.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint if desired and serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Notes
These parfaits are best assembled just before serving to keep the cake from becoming soggy. Perfect for a patriotic party!
