Description

This 5 Minute Ginger Sauce is a bold, fresh, and flavorful homemade sauce that comes together in minutes. Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger.
  2. In a small bowl, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.
  3. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic.
  4. Pour in the water and chili oil if using.
  5. Whisk everything together until fully combined and smooth.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness, salt, or acidity as needed.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For a smoother sauce, blend all ingredients for 20 seconds. Add more honey for a sweeter version or more vinegar for extra tang. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 5 days. Great as a salad dressing, dumpling dip, noodle sauce, or marinade base.
