A quick and flavorful miso glazed salmon, perfectly caramelized and ready in just 5 minutes.
Ingredients

- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, honey, and grated ginger in a small bowl.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and brush generously with the miso glaze.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
- Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook for another 2 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcook the salmon. Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables for a quick meal.
