Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar (optional, for caramelization)
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for a crispy finish)
  • Optional: chili flakes, lemon zest, or cumin
  • Optional: splash of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness using a meat mallet.
  2. Pat dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
  3. Rub chicken with olive oil.
  4. Combine all seasonings and coat chicken evenly.
  5. Let chicken rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
