Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Ground cinnamon, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the water and cinnamon sticks to a boil.
  2. Add the rice and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer uncovered for about 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
  4. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
  5. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency (about 15-20 minutes).
  6. Serve warm or chilled, topped with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.

Notes

For an extra creamy version, use short-grain rice. Adjust sweetness by reducing condensed milk slightly if desired.
