- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Additional ketchup and mustard for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, onion, pickles, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
- Shape into a loaf and place in prepared pan or on baking sheet.
- Optional: spread additional ketchup and mustard in a swirl pattern on top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with burger-style sides like fries or coleslaw.
Notes
For extra flavor, stuff the center with cheese cubes. You can swap cheddar with pepper jack for a spicy twist.
