  • Author: Crystal
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

Delicious oven-baked meatballs simmered in rich marinara sauce — juicy, tender, and perfect for pasta, subs, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for greasing pan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Mix gently until combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches each.
  6. Place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  8. Heat marinara sauce in a large skillet.
  9. Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  10. Serve warm over pasta, in subs, or as appetizers.

Notes

For extra tenderness, avoid overmixing the meat mixture. Use high-quality marinara for best flavor.
