Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 (16 oz) cans baked beans
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine baked beans, BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and the cooked beef mixture. Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until bubbling and slightly caramelized on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Add chopped cooked bacon or a dash of hot sauce for an extra flavor boost.
