Description

This Best Ever Christmas Crack is a holiday must-make! Buttery toffee poured over crackers, topped with melted chocolate and festive sprinkles – it’s addictive, easy, and the perfect treat to gift or keep!


Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve of saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment and arrange crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil and let bubble for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers and spread quickly with a spatula.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  6. Add festive sprinkles on top.
  7. Cool completely, then chill in fridge for 1–2 hours until set. Break into pieces and enjoy!
