Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pink and red sprinkles
  • Royal icing or melted white chocolate for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Gently flatten each ball and add sprinkles on top.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool completely.
  10. Decorate with royal icing or melted white chocolate.

Notes
