Description

A deconstructed Big Mac turned into a hearty casserole layered with ground beef, cheese, pickles, and a special sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup diced pickles
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded lettuce and sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs with heavy cream.
  5. Spread beef mixture into baking dish. Sprinkle diced pickles and shredded cheese on top.
  6. Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until set and golden.
  8. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create Big Mac sauce.
  9. Serve casserole topped with shredded lettuce, sesame seeds, and drizzle of Big Mac sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of crumbled burger buns as a topping before baking.
