- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until crispy.
- Flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the spice level. Best served immediately for optimal crispiness.
