Ingredients

Scale
  • Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:

    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Cheesecake Filling:

    • 16 ounces (2 packages) full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Crust:

    • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • Topping:

    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  • Prepare Cinnamon Sugar:

    • In a small bowl, combine ½ cup granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Position a rack in the middle of the oven.
  • Prepare Baking Dish:

    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of the prepared cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the bottom of the pan.
  • Layer Crescent Dough:

    • Open one tube of crescent roll dough. Unroll it and press the seams together to form a single rectangular sheet. Place this sheet into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, ensuring it covers the entire bottom.
  • Prepare Cheesecake Filling:

    • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add ¾ cup granulated sugar, the egg, and vanilla extract. Continue beating until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Assemble Layers:

    • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the bottom layer of dough, spreading it evenly.
    • Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough, press the seams together, and place it over the cream cheese layer, covering it completely.
  • Add Topping:

    • Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough, spreading it evenly.
    • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 26-30 minutes, or until the top is puffed and golden brown.
  • Cool and Serve:

    • Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, transfer to the refrigerator to chill thoroughly before cutting into bars.
