Candy Eyes Recipe

Description

Fun and spooky candy eyes, perfect for decorating cakes, cookies, or Halloween treats.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 teaspoons water
  • Mini chocolate chips (for pupils)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, sift together powdered sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Add corn syrup, vanilla, and 2 teaspoons of water. Mix until a thick paste forms. Add an extra teaspoon of water if needed.
  3. Transfer mixture into a piping bag and pipe small round dots onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Immediately place a mini chocolate chip in the center of each dot to create the pupil.
  5. Allow the candy eyes to dry at room temperature for 24 hours until fully hardened.

Notes

Store candy eyes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
