A hearty and cheesy cheeseburger casserole packed with ground beef, pasta, and melted cheese, perfect for an easy family dinner.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and soft.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, and drain excess fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in cooked pasta and sour cream until well combined.
- Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add pickles or bacon bits before baking. Can be prepped ahead and refrigerated, then baked when ready to serve.
