Description

A bold and savory Chinese garlic sauce made with soy sauce, garlic, and simple seasonings, perfect for stir-fries, vegetables, or noodles.


Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan.
  5. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat once glossy and smooth.
  7. Use immediately or store for later use.
