Description

This chipotle red chimichurri sauce is smoky, bold, and full of vibrant flavor, perfect for grilled meats, tacos, or roasted vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the parsley and cilantro.
  2. Add the herbs to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped chipotle pepper.
  4. Stir in the smoked paprika and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour in the red wine vinegar.
  6. Slowly add the olive oil while mixing.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Mix until the sauce is well combined.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
