Description

Festive and fun, these Christmas Cheese Trees are the perfect holiday appetizer – crispy, cheesy, and shaped like adorable little trees!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into tree shapes using a cookie cutter.
  3. Place the tree shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush each tree with egg wash.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning evenly over the trees.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra crispiness, freeze the cut shapes for 5–10 minutes before baking. You can use different cheeses or add chili flakes for a spicy twist.
