- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup red and green M&Ms
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, stirring well.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips, M&Ms, and pecans if using.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
For extra holiday flair, press additional M&Ms on top before baking. Store blondies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
