- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup warm milk (110°F)
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
For the Filling:
- 1 ½ cups apple pie filling (homemade or store-bought)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
For the Glaze:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Make the dough: Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
- Roll & fill: Roll dough into a 12×16-inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar. Spread apple pie filling evenly.
- Cut & bake: Roll tightly, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased 9×13-inch pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
- Glaze: Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.
