A moist and flavorful traditional meatloaf topped with a tangy ketchup glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Spread remaining ketchup on top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, use a mix of ground beef and ground pork. Leftovers make excellent sandwiches.
