Description
A traditional Italian spaghetti Bolognese with rich, meaty sauce and tender pasta.
Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 200ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and black pepper
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan. Sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, canned tomatoes, beef stock, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve sauce over spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Notes
For deeper flavor, simmer the sauce longer and use a mix of pork and beef.
