Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish with tender ground beef, creamy tomato sauce, and pasta shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook onion until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and cheese until melted.
  8. Add cooked pasta shells and toss to coat.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
