- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook onion until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta shells and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
