- 6 boneless skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Place chicken in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
- Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place chicken skin-side down and sear for 6–8 minutes until crispy.
- Flip the chicken and transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, make sure the chicken skin is completely dry before seasoning.
