Description

These crispy ground beef tacos are a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner. Perfectly seasoned beef tucked into crunchy taco shells, topped with your favorite fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 120ml water
  • 10 crispy taco shells
  • 100g shredded lettuce
  • 100g grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 50g sour cream
  • Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic to the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, salt, pepper, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Meanwhile, preheat the oven and warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into the taco shells.
  6. Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and fresh coriander if using.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

For extra crispy shells, bake them for a few more minutes before filling. You can also add avocado or jalapeños for more flavor.
