Description
These crispy ground beef tacos are a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner. Perfectly seasoned beef tucked into crunchy taco shells, topped with your favorite fresh toppings.

- 500g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 120ml water
- 10 crispy taco shells
- 100g shredded lettuce
- 100g grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 50g sour cream
- Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning, salt, pepper, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven and warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Spoon the beef mixture into the taco shells.
- Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and fresh coriander if using.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
For extra crispy shells, bake them for a few more minutes before filling. You can also add avocado or jalapeños for more flavor.
