Description

A tender, juicy ham slow-cooked with sweet brown sugar and pineapple for an easy, comforting meal perfect for holidays or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (68 lb)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices in juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice (from the can)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Place the ham in the crock pot, flat side down.
  2. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the ham.
  3. Arrange the pineapple slices on top and around the ham.
  4. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves.
  5. Pour the mixture over the ham.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours.
  7. Baste the ham occasionally with the juices.
  8. Serve warm with extra sauce spooned over the top.
