Description

A rich, creamy, and cheesy slow-cooked spaghetti casserole layered with ground beef, marinara, and a luscious cream cheese mixture – comfort food at its finest.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in marinara sauce. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  3. Lightly grease the bottom of your crock pot.
  4. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the cheese mixture, then half of the meat sauce. Repeat the layers.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can prepare this a day ahead and refrigerate before slow cooking. Great for potlucks and family dinners.
