- 6–8 chicken legs
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 cup wild rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken legs in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley, and minced onion.
- Add the brown rice and wild rice over the chicken.
- Pour in the chicken broth evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the rice is tender and chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve hot, spooning rice and broth over the chicken legs.
Notes
You can substitute the rice blend for any favorite rice mix. For added flavor, toss in chopped garlic or celery.
