Description

An ultra-decadent crockpot chocolate lava cake that’s gooey, rich, and incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding (3.9 oz)
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (1 12oz bag)

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and whole milk.
  3. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. Pour the cake batter into the crockpot.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate pudding mix evenly over the top of the batter.
  6. Top with chocolate chips.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the edges are set but the center is gooey.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcooking to maintain that molten, lava-like center. Serve directly from the crockpot for best gooey results.
