- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 packet dry French onion soup mix
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone (optional topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, French onion soup mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and parsley.
- Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the center of your crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
- Optional: About 15 minutes before serving, top with shredded cheese and cover to melt.
- Carefully remove the meatloaf and let it rest 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies. Leftovers make great sandwiches!
