Description

A bright, sweet-tart cranberry clementine sauce that comes together in minutes—perfect for holidays, breakfasts, and topping desserts.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 3 clementines (zest and juice)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and set aside.
  2. Zest and juice the clementines.
  3. Combine cranberries, clementine juice, zest, sugar, water, and salt in a saucepan.
  4. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Cook 10–12 minutes until berries burst and the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  7. Let cool before serving; it will thicken further as it cools.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Stores well in the fridge for up to one week.
