Description
This Easy Cranberry Sauce for Thanksgiving is sweet, tangy, and comes together in just 15 minutes. Perfect for pairing with turkey or spreading on leftover sandwiches!
Ingredients

- 12 oz (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240ml) water
- 1/2 tsp orange zest (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and discard any soft or damaged ones.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most cranberries have burst.
- Stir in orange zest and cinnamon if using. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container. Chill before serving.
Notes
You can make this sauce up to a week in advance. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container.
