Description

This lighter take on classic buffalo chicken dip packs all the flavor with a protein-packed twist. Perfect for game day or healthy snacking, it’s creamy, tangy, and sure to become your new go-to appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup full fat cottage cheese
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts (about 14 oz)
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar/mozzarella blend)
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions (for garnish)
  • Chips and/or sliced veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blend cottage cheese in food processor until smooth.
  3. Shred cooked chicken and mix with buffalo sauce.
  4. Combine seasoned chicken, blended cottage cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Fold in 3/4 cup shredded cheese and transfer mixture to oven-safe dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 18-20 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve warm with veggies or chips.

Notes

Tips: Greek yogurt can substitute cottage cheese. For extra spice, add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Storage: Keep refrigerated up to 4 days. Reheat in oven for best texture.
