Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey or beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup low-sodium broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey or beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add beans, tomatoes, and broth.
  6. Season with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  7. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20–25 minutes.
  8. Adjust seasoning as needed.
