Description

This easy mango chili sauce is sweet, spicy, and tangy, perfect for dipping, glazing, or drizzling over your favorite dishes.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 red chili peppers, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add diced mangoes, chili peppers, and garlic to a blender.
  2. Blend until mostly smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, and salt.
  5. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and let cool.
  9. Transfer to a jar or serving bowl.

Notes

Adjust the amount of chili peppers to control the heat level of the sauce.
