Description

Quick and delicious salmon patties that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon (14.75 oz), drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, egg, lemon juice, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and shape into 6 patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped parsley or dill. These patties can also be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
