This Easy Thanksgiving Pumpkin Trifle is a festive and delicious layered dessert with pumpkin, whipped cream, and spiced flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box spice cake mix (baked and cooled)
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the spice cake mix according to package instructions and let it cool completely. Cut into cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth and thickened.
  3. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the pumpkin pudding mixture over the cake layer.
  5. Top with a layer of whipped topping.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, pumpkin mixture, and whipped topping.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
