Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  4. Divide mixture evenly into muffin cups.
  5. Top each with a small spoonful of ketchup.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

These freeze well! Store in an airtight container and reheat in the microwave or oven for a quick meal. Great served with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
