- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Extra butter for brushing
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
- Add flour and salt gradually, mixing to form a soft dough.
- Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and rise 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12–16 rolls.
- Place rolls on a greased baking sheet and rise 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Brush warm rolls with melted butter and serve.
Notes
For extra softness, do not over-flour the dough. Pumpkin moisture can vary—adjust flour slightly as needed.
