A quick and flavorful Five-Spice Beef Stir Fry packed with tender beef, crisp vegetables, and bold aromatic seasoning.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and broccoli to the pan and stir fry for 3–4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan and toss everything together.
- Season with salt and pepper, add green onions, and cook for 1 more minute.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Slice the beef thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
