  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Tender, flavorful chicken legs slow-cooked in a fragrant garlic and herb blend, perfect for a fuss-free family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 chicken legs
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, Italian herbs, salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken legs.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken legs into the crockpot.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the crockpot (not directly on chicken).
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Optional: For crispy skin, broil the cooked legs in the oven for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add chopped potatoes or carrots to the crockpot for a one-pot meal. Adjust herbs to taste.
