- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (gluten-free)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, oats, almond flour, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a lined or greased baking sheet or into a loaf pan.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use certified gluten-free oats and Worcestershire sauce to ensure the dish is 100% gluten-free. Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad.
