Description
A spooky Halloween dessert featuring rich chocolate mousse decorated like a graveyard with cookie tombstones and candy bones.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (for dirt topping)
- 6 rectangular cookies (for tombstones)
- Black gel icing (for writing)
- Candy bones or gummy worms for decoration
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat 1 cup heavy cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whip remaining 1/2 cup cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into melted chocolate mixture until combined. Spoon into serving cups.
- Top mousse with crushed cookies to resemble dirt.
- Use gel icing to write βRIPβ on rectangular cookies and insert as tombstones.
- Decorate with candy bones or gummy worms.
- Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For an extra rich mousse, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
