Description

A simple, sweet, and smoky summer dessert of grilled peaches served warm with vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Brush peach halves with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Place peaches cut-side down on the grill.
  4. Grill for 4–5 minutes, until grill marks form and peaches are slightly softened.
  5. Flip and grill for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Best served immediately while warm. Try adding crushed nuts for extra texture.
