A simple yet flavorful grilled sockeye salmon recipe with a smoky char and tender, juicy flesh.

- 4 sockeye salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Place salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook for another 3–4 minutes until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, grill with the lid closed to lock in smoky flavor. Pair with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
