Description

A simple yet flavorful grilled sockeye salmon recipe with a smoky char and tender, juicy flesh.


Ingredients

  • 4 sockeye salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Flip carefully and cook for another 3–4 minutes until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, grill with the lid closed to lock in smoky flavor. Pair with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
