Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup beef broth or water
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chopped cabbage and stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth or water, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Uncover and cook for a few more minutes to allow excess liquid to evaporate.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a splash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce during cooking. This dish pairs well with rice or crusty bread.
