Description
A hearty, one-skillet Ground Beef Gnocchi recipe made with tender potato gnocchi, rich tomato sauce, and savory ground beef – perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

			- 1 lb ground beef
 - 1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1 small onion, diced
 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
 - 1/4 cup tomato paste
 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
 
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Add diced onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
 - Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
 - Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
 - Add gnocchi directly to the skillet (uncooked) and stir to coat with the sauce.
 - Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 minutes, or until gnocchi is tender.
 - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top, cover again, and let cheese melt.
 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
 
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a handful of spinach during the final minutes of cooking.
