Description

A comforting, creamy beef stroganoff with tender noodles and savory ground beef, ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 250g egg noodles
  • 250ml beef broth
  • 200ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to remove raw flour taste.
  6. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use full-fat sour cream for best texture. Add mushrooms if desired for extra depth.
