Description
A lighter, deconstructed version of classic egg rolls made with ground turkey, cabbage, and flavorful Asian seasonings, served in a bowl.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bag (14 oz) coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Cooked rice or cauliflower rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic, ginger, and onion; sauté until softened.
- Stir in ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar, mixing well.
- Stir in coleslaw mix and cook until cabbage is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and add sriracha if desired.
- Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve in bowls with rice or cauliflower rice.
Notes
This dish is a healthy low-carb meal that comes together in under 30 minutes. Adjust spice level with sriracha to taste.
