Description
A hearty and comforting lasagna made with ground turkey, layers of rich tomato sauce, creamy ricotta, and gooey melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 box lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey, season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce, then layer noodles, ricotta, turkey sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat layers until dish is full, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can prepare the lasagna ahead of time and refrigerate before baking. For extra richness, add a layer of spinach or zucchini.
